Early intervention, using the CAF process, and its cost effectiveness. Findings from LARC 3
During 2010, the 21 participating LAs in LARC undertook and documented local research projects with the aim of finding out to what extent the CAF process itself is cost effective,both in enabling better early intervention with a consequent reduction in the demand for more costly specialist services. This work (referred to later as LARC3) builds on the first two LARC projects conducted over the period 2007-09.
Children and young people's views of education policy
Just over 2,000 children and young people participated in research which aimed to build, from the point of view of children and young people, a strong evidence base of what works in educational policy and what does not. The report will support the Children's Commissioner in her work to promote children's rights.
