Robert has extensive experience of designing and leading a range of research and evaluation projects for clients, mostly in Wales. These have included the Welsh Government, WLGA, individual local authorities and charities. He has led on work focusing on school improvement, structural change within education and training, workforce development, Welsh language policy, and youth and social inclusion issues. He has a particular interest in the impact of devolution on policy in Wales and elsewhere.
Robert has collected data from a wide range of research participants, including strategic leaders, practitioners at all levels and children and young people. He has also presented research findings to practitioner and policy-based audiences in seminars, conferences and other gatherings. He is a fluent Welsh speaker and has written reports in both Welsh and English.
