Workshop on s106 and developer contributions

EMIE recently facilitated a meeting on Section 106 and developer contributions. This was in response to messages on the eddie email discussion forum expressing concerns about the tough stance being taken by developers in some cases and the lack of consistency over applying Section 106 in different authorities.

The meeting was held in London on Friday 5th February and was attended by 37 delegates from different local authorities across the country. The meeting aimed to provide an opportunity for delegates to share information about the different strategies for applying s106 in different authorities and to explore the possibility of agreeing some uniformity of approach that would strengthen the case of individual authorities.

Report of the meeting and findings of the pre-workshop survey (pupil forecasting network only).
