The next round of workshops will be held on 3rd March in Manchester, 5th March in London and 11th March in Birmingham. Topics for discussion will include CAA, and also cover the work that is under way to review indicators. Representatives from both the DCSF and Ofsted will be joining the debate. Pupil forecasting |
EMIE is to facilitate a meeting on Section 106 and developer contributions on Friday 5th February in London. This is in response to recent messages on eddie expressing concerns about the lack of consistency over applying Section 106 in different authorities. Please email emie@nfer.ac.uk, to express your interest. Further details will then be sent out in the New Year. |

This NFER report, on behalf of the LGA, presents the results of an analysis of the proposals submitted by English councils under the Sustainable Communities Act (SCA). It aims to provide a snapshot of key patterns and trends emerging from the different types of local authorities in the nine regions and with varying political control. |
