Pupil forecasting

EMIE is to facilitate a meeting on Section 106 and developer contributions on Friday 5th February in London. This is in response to recent messages on eddie expressing concerns about the lack of consistency over applying Section 106 in different authorities. Please email emie@nfer.ac.uk, to express your interest. Further details will then be sent out in the New Year.
LARC3 LARC Showcase, 27th January 2010. For everyone who will be, or is thinking about being, part of LARC3 for 2010, this event will present the findings and recommendations of the LARC2 projects and look at the way forward for LARC3. Register your places – we have planned for two per authority – by emailing name and job title to larc@nfer.ac.uk
Sustainable communities Act This NFER report, on behalf of the LGA, presents the results of an analysis of the proposals submitted by English councils under the Sustainable Communities Act (SCA). It aims to provide a snapshot of key patterns and trends emerging from the different types of local authorities in the nine regions and with varying political control.
Happy Christmas The EMIE office will be closed during the week of the 28th December, re-opening on 4th January 2010. We thank you for your support this past year and wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
