Caroline joined NFER in April 2008 as a Research Officer, and is part of the Research, Evaluation and Information Department. She is working on a variety of projects, for the Department for Children, Schools and Families, the Gatsby Foundation, and the Centre for Excellence and Outcomes in Children and Young People’s Services.
Prior experience and professional background
Prior to working at the NFER, Caroline worked as a Research Officer at the Winnicott Research Unit, in the Department of Psychology and Clinical Linguistics at the University of Reading. She also worked for the National Evaluation of Sure Start, where she was based at the Institute for the Study of Children Families and Social Issues, Birkbeck College, University of London, and the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

Children’s Services, early years, primary education, research methods and statistics, social inclusion and special needs.
