David is Head of Project Management in the Research, Evaluation and Information Department.

Prior experience and professional background

Before joining NFER in 1985, worked as a Research Associate for the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education.

Main research interests

Education policy, social inclusion, work-related curriculum, work-based learning, 14-19 education, Further education, adult education.

Other research interests

Community-based learning, and evaluation of education initiatives.
