What is the process?

A recent pilot Teacher Voice survey found...

"Teachers enjoy being involved in out of school learning activities."
We asked teachers about their involvement in running after school clubs. Whilst fifty per cent said their school expected them to become involved, nearly three quarters agreed that involvement in these activities was enjoyable.

What is the process?

Customers can submit questions or ideas for questions to NFER by the specified date for a particular survey. At this stage NFER will draw on the expertise of the Foundation to engage in developing the initial question idea to a final question. Wording will then be sent to customers for final agreement.

Once agreed, the questions will be set up online using Pulsetrain’s Bellview Web software. The teacher panel will be sent links to the survey and asked to complete the survey on line. Any open-ended questions will be coded during the survey live period by our team of experienced coders.

At the end of the survey period, data will be extracted, cleaned and then analysed to produce results. Topline results will comprise frequencies related to to each question for all respondents and for primary and secondary respondents separately. The further results will include cross tabulations by background factors, a written commentary of the results and description of the sample, and guidance on how to interpret the results.
