A recent pilot Teacher Voice survey found...

"Teachers endorse recent investment in ICT."
Substantial sums have been invested in ICT in schools since 1998. Only 15 percent of primary and secondary felt that recent investment in ICT would have been better spent in other areas of teaching and learning.

Why use Teacher Voice?

The Teacher Voice survey is completed by a panel of practising teachers. The panel members work in primary and secondary schools and have roles ranging from classroom teacher to headteacher.

The survey suits questions that are meaningful to the broad teacher workforce. It can be used to help find out about:

  • Views about current educational issues
  • Knowledge of new initiatives
  • Understanding of issues or developments
  • Awareness of organisations
  • Current classroom practice

Routing can be used to ask questions of subgroups of the sample, where appropriate, for example to ask a question that is only relevant for primary teachers.

Please note that the survey is not intended for those wishing to undertake market research for a commercial product or service.
