Pupil and parent voice

‘The results of the online consultation with parents organised by NFER on the early years inspection framework has been really useful. This has helped in understanding parental views about how we need to approach inspection of early years providers.'

Chris O'Connor,
Head of Public Involvement, OFSTED

NFER Pupil and Parent Voice survey panel

NFER’s Pupil and Parent Voice is a panel-based survey offering access to households in England. It consists of parents of school-aged children (Reception to year 13 inclusive) as well as the primary and secondary school pupils (year 3 to year 13 inclusive).

The panel surveys can be used at any time and are designed to be used for a range of research purposes.

The panel includes households from a good spread of geographical regions in England and includes pupils attending a range of school types if required. Panel Surveys can be designed to be representative of EducationAcorn, a categorisation designed to discriminate across factors relating to education and school pupil performance.
