Only 21% of teachers see the 14-19 Diploma as a qualification suitable for those who want to go to university, and only 24% see it as a qualification for the academically able.

comment It is not the communicating of the intention to make the Diplomas suitable for preparation for further study which is at fault, it is the content of the courses and the irrelevant activities that demotivates students with regard to further study. |
