The Local Government Association (LGA) commissioned the NFER to carry out a good practice review of innovative approaches to fostering and adoption practice. The NFER research team carried out 34 telephone interviews with a selection of local authority officers, councillors and staff from partner organisations. Interviews were carried out in April and May 2012.
This document provides case-study reports on seven councils' approaches. It will be of interest to lead members, councillors and local authority officers with an interest in or responsibility for fostering and/or adoption.
