Here at the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER), we are passionate about education. Our mission is to improve outcomes for future generations everywhere and to support positive change across education systems.
NFER is a not-for-profit organisation and an equal opportunities employer welcoming applications from all sections of the community. Around 210 people work at NFER, engaged in a variety of disciplines. Many of us are researchers, policy analysts, statisticians, psychometricians and economists, but we also have staff specialising in areas as diverse as marketing and communications, ICT, finance, HR and facilities management.
All are essential to the effective running of an influential and leading charitable Foundation like ours.
Joining us at NFER enables you to enjoy the benefits of a modern head office environment set in its own extensive, picturesque grounds with a rich local history. Located on the outskirts of Slough and close to Eton and Windsor, we are less than half an hour from London Paddington and Heathrow and close to the M40, M4 and M25 transport hubs. NFER also has offices in York and Llanelli where small groups of our research staff are located.
