Senior Project Coordinator/PA/Team Administrator

Location of position is: Slough

Salary in the range: £30,127 - £33,908; the level of appointment and associated salary will depend upon qualifications and experience.

About the role

Internally you’ll be known as a Senior Project Coordinator and provide administrative support on a number of different research projects, including arranging meetings, acting as point of contact for team members, and assisting with compilation of reports. You’ll give a comprehensive service of planning and organising the administrative work of the team in consultation with projects leaders and research staff across the department.

We have two opportunities open;

  1. A full time position joining the International Research team to also provide contractual support and advice to the international team.
  2. A part time (20-28 hours) joining as a personal assistant to the senior leads within the department.

About you

You’ll have previous experience working in an office environment as a team administrator/PA, project coordinator or in a similar role. You’ll need the ability to plan, prioritise, communicate and proactively manage a diverse team and handle a large workload with competing deadlines. A flexible, friendly and collegiate approach with a ‘can do’ attitude is essential.

  • Excellent IT skills in MS Packages and Outlook
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to research, digest, analyse and present material clearly and concisely
  • Experience of managing others including delegation of work and work quality
  • Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative.

The role has a pay grade of £30,127 - £33,908.
