The future of technical and professional education: joining the dots

It was organised by the Learning and Skills Research Network (LSRN), a network of researchers and practitioners working in Further Education. NFER provides organisational support for the two annual workshops run by LSRN, and Senior Research Manager Tami McCrone sits on the LSRN National Planning Group.

Meeting of CEBE - How To Be A Research Engaged School/College Working Group

Senior Research Manager Matt Walker chaired a CEBE workshop at which a mixed group of researchers, academics and practitioners shared and discussed a range of projects and activities designed to support research engagement in schools and colleges. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the pre-conditions required at an institutional level for effective engagement with research with a view to setting up a collaborative project or network.
