Latest analysis of academy school performance

In February 2016, 65% of secondary schools and 18% of primary schools were academies.  With the Government's stated ambition that every school should become an academy, our latest research carried out for the Local Government Association includes some of the first data on the performance of primary academies.
New educational research graduate programme
NFER has started a new graduate programme to recruit and develop the next generation of insightful and talented educational researchers.  The two-year programme is designed to give varied experience of our areas of work and will be tailored to meet candidates' strengths and development needs.

Teacher Voice omnibus survey in the news
Information obtained through our regular Teacher Voice omnibus survey continues to inform public debate on important issues in education. In June, the Sutton Trust and Education Endowment Fund reported on the use of funding for disadvantaged pupils after including questions in the March Teacher Voice survey.
