International Early Learning and Child Well-being Study (IELS)
NFER has been appointed by the Department for Education to carry out a new OECD study to improve children’s early development in England. The study will take a holistic approach to exploring how to support a child’s cognitive, social and emotional wellbeing through a combination of interactive stories and games with children aged 5. If your school receives a letter from NFER, you have been selected to be one of the 32 schools to take part in the field trial of the IELS study – we look forward to working with you. This will find out how well the study works in England, and is your opportunity to influence the future stages of the study.
