She has worked in the national Eurydice Unit for England, Wales and Northern Ireland in Eurydice, the European Commission information network on education, since 2000. As part of Erasmus+, the Eurydice Network provides comparative information on education systems and policies in Europe. She continues to work on cross-national, cross NFER projects including policy scopings looking at the organisation of primary education around the world and the different methods used internationally to establish and maintain standards in key qualifications and assessments. Most recently she led a policy audit of the curriculum for education about religious beliefs (ERB) and ethics in 13 jurisdictions worldwide.
