Gemma joined NFER in October 2017 to lead the development, ongoing review and implementation of the organisation’s product strategy. In addition, she heads up the product marketing team, developing and ensuring delivery of the sales and marketing strategy.
Gemma has worked in marketing within the education sector for the last decade, with experience spanning communications, PR, digital, direct and broadcast marketing and brand development. She has worked for both suppliers to schools and education providers and gained product development experience with one of the largest education publishing houses in the UK. This involved working closely with publishers to develop curriculum, wellbeing and SEN assessments for Key Stages 1–3.
Gemma gained her research-based degree in Sociology at the University of Sussex and went on to study Neuro-linguistic Programming.
