Hilary is an experienced information specialist who undertakes information and reviews activities for a wide range of clients, involving undertaking literature searching, appraising, synthesising and summarising literature, and writing review reports. She also provides information and support services for a wide range of NFER research and development projects and is part of the team providing the services of the Eurydice Unit for England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Eurydice Network is the European Commission information network on education which provides comparative information on education systems and policies in Europe.

Hilary holds an Honours degree in History from the University of Cambridge and a postgraduate diploma in Information and Library Studies from Aberystwyth University. She is a Chartered member of CILIP, the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professional
