Our new range of age-appropriate, paper-based mathematics and reading assessments are available for use in the summer term of Year 1 and the autumn term of Year 2. The papers are designed to take into account the young age of pupils and follow the format of the Key Stage 1 national curriculum tests to help build children’s familiarity and confidence in assessments.
Two child-friendly mathematics papers are available for the Year 1 summer term, with paper 2 requiring pupils to work more independently with some abstract methods.
Two child-friendly reading papers are available for use in the Year 1 summer term, one for all pupils with teacher support and mediation and an additional reading booklet for pupils who can work more independently.
Two age-appropriate mathematics booklets are available for use in the Year 2 autumn term, one focusing on arithmetic skills and the other requiring reasoning skills.
Two age-appropriate reading papers are available for use in the Year 2 autumn term. One is an accessible booklet for all pupils and the second contains more challenging questions for more confident readers.
