NFER is delighted to be presenting at the relaunch of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Literacy, which is run by the National Literacy Trust. Liz Twist, NFER’s Head of Assessment, will present insights from NFER’s wider portfolio in the literacy space, and discuss the ways that COVID-19 has impacted on pupils’ progress, drawing on teacher perceptions of impact.

Dr Christina Clark, Head of Research at the National Literacy Trust will present initial findings of the impact of COVID-19 on attitudes to literacy and language, as well as the challenges we have seen in our Hub areas. At the end, there will be a Q & A.

This is set to be a really interesting discussion, on what the impact of COVID-19 has been on literacy in the UK, as well as the wider impact of COVID-19 on education.
