What does the evidence tell us about teacher retention? NFER’s Lead Economist, Jack Worth will be sharing his research and analysis to understand the changing teaching profession and identify ways of improving teacher recruitment and retention.

The quality of our schools is determined by the quality of our teachers. That means there is nothing more important than making sure that our best teachers feel well supported and motivated to continue in their jobs.  After all, it is easier to retain good quality staff, than to try to recruit new ones.

This strategic summit is for school leaders and HR leads.  Its purpose is to examine the evidence around teacher retention to help school leaders create or refine their own teacher retention strategy, to keep more high quality teachers in the profession for longer.
