Dr Julie Nelson, a Senior Research Manager at the NFER joined several influential speakers at this year’s Festival of Higher Education. Speaking on supporting research-informed practice in schools, her presentation can be downloaded here.
The Festival, took part in its third year with speakers and sessions focusing on the most important issues facing higher education. Themes included: social mobility and access to higher education, the quality of teaching in schools, what universities can learn from schools, whether current funding models provide value for money, the higher education curriculum, and applying A.I. and technology to learning.
Held at The University of Buckingham’s beautiful town centre campus, the festival of Higher Education replicas on the hugely successful Sunday Times Festival of Education which this year is being held on 21 and 22 June at Wellington College.
