NFER Senior Economist Jack Worth contributed to the discussion during this seminar which assessed the next steps for improving teacher retention and development in England.

The key areas for discussion were teacher development and support, recruitment and retention - key challenges facing England’s education sector. Jack shared key insights from NFER’s research into the teacher workforce, including the latest findings from our Teacher Retention and Turnover project, which is being funded by the Nuffield Foundation.
