This is a deeply concerning and uncertain time for everyone in education and across wider society.

Our priority is to minimise the risks for our staff, partners and those involved in our work everywhere.

To this extent, we have introduced a range of measures to help us continue operating safely across all parts of the organisation, based on the latest Government advice. This includes changes to our internal ways of working, how we collect data on projects and our engagement with schools.

Our offices in Slough, York and Llanelli have been temporarily closed, with staff continuing to work from home.

We are currently not conducting fieldwork in schools and we will be holding any NFER Tests orders that are yet to be despatched until our offices re-open.

We are grateful to our partners and customers for their commitment and flexibility in helping us respond to these unprecedented circumstances. The action taken already has minimised risks associated with the safety of those involved.

Given the fast moving nature of this situation, we will continue to review daily the latest Government advice and react accordingly.
