The aim of the evaluation was to establish whether giving young people control and decision making power over resources in their local area led to an increase in provision of quality positive activities and the levels of participation by young people in these. This report covers the second and final phase of the evaluation.
The research comprised a mixed methodology involving:
- Follow-up qualitative case studies in 12 LAs
- Telephone survey of managers with responsibility for the Youth Opportunity Fund / Youth Capital Fund (YOP / YCF) in 129 LAs
- Quantitative survey of 323 young people and the wider community in eight LAs
