This report focuses on early intervention and prevention, in the context of integrated services. It was commissioned by C4EO to contribute to its theme on early intervention and prevention. The main aim is to add to the current debate on ensuring that early intervention helps to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families. It aims to complement the recent review and scoping study, Issues in earlier intervention: identifying and supporting children with additional needs.
