Following on from the publication entitled 'Three to Remember', this short report is the second in a series of papers from the NFER project entitled 'School Attendance, Truancy and Exclusion'. It deals exclusively with young people's perspectives and, using interview extracts, conveys the views of 160 pupils who have had experience of attendance or behaviour problems at school.
