Centre for Information and Reviews
About the Centre
NFER’s Centre for Information and Reviews offers services for anyone professionally interested in education systems, policy and research in the UK and beyond.
We are the Eurydice Unit for England, Wales and Northern Ireland in the Eurydice information network on education in Europe and also produce resources on education policy in other countries, such as the INCA website on curriculum and assessment in 21 countries worldwide. This international experience enables us to offer a wealth of insights into developments in other countries and to produce specialist briefings on education in the UK and beyond.
Colleagues in the Centre are also expert in systematic literature reviews, from rapid evidence assessments and scoping studies to full systematic reviews, and offer a range of linked services including specialist search strategy development, systematic database and online searching, coding, quality assurance of searching, or reference management. See our reviews webpage and brochure.
The Centre produces a range of free policy and research updates and our Library houses a specialist collection of books and journals covering education and children’s services worldwide. This extensive document collection, which informs our information and intelligence services, is available online or you can contact us to arrange a visit.
