Children's Services at NFER help people working in children’s services to implement all aspects of the Every Child Matters agenda. We work in close partnership with our clients, carrying out independent, innovative work which influences national and local policy developments for the benefit of children and young people. We are passionate about the positive impact our work has on society.
The Government's approach to the well-being of children and young people, Every Child Matters: Change for Children, was introduced in 2005. Its five strands aim for every child to have the support they need to be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic wellbeing. NFER has resources available that can support those who work in these areas, alongside projects looking more broadly at how service are working together to plan, commission, share information and deliver joined-up services.
