Meeting of CEBE - How To Be A Research Engaged School/College Working Group

Senior Research Manager Matt Walker will be chairing a CEBE workshop at which a mixed group of researchers, academics and practitioners will share and discuss a range of projects and activities designed to support research engagement in schools and colleges. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the pre-conditions required at an institutional level for effective engagement with research with a view to setting up a collaborative project or network.

Linking Evidence and Practice - What Works? What Next?

NFER hosted the first in a series of seminars for the Coalition for Evidence Based Education (CEBE) to focus on linking evidence and practice in education. The event was attended by over 70 delegates including researchers, practitioners, school leaders, representative bodies from schools and further education, government agencies and the Department for Education.
