How to analyse data
The group will need to get together to engage with and analyse the data. This could involve the young people watching video recordings, listening to audio recordings, looking at the photographs they have taken, tallying up the results of votes or questionnaire, or sharing their interview or focus group notes with one another.
If the group has interviewed different types of people, look into whether their views match or contrast and think about why this might be. It may be helpful to hold a brainstorming sessions with flipcharts and sticky notes. Try to group together the different messages into overarching themes.
