NFER Tests Suite 2 autumn, spring and summer

Optional tests for Years 3, 4 and 5 to help monitor pupil attainment and progress

About NFER Tests

NFER Tests Suite 2 provides three sets of optional paper-based tests in mathematics, reading and grammar and punctuation tests for Years 3, 4 and 5 and one set of spelling tests for use across each year group.

Any of the three sets of tests, one designed for use in each of the autumn, spring and summer terms, can be used either individually or together, at different points of the year, to help monitor pupil attainment and progress. For example:

Autumn tests

can be used on their own to provide a baseline of what a pupil can do and provide further information to guide teaching and learning.
