The NFER Research Mark has driven improvements in practice and has had a direct impact on the children as a result.
The research undertaken to gain the award was chosen for the greatest impact on raising pupil aspirations, measured before and after the delivery of a key intervention, to change attitudes and approaches for the better, with both parents and children.
The process and validation of the hard work that we put in to the research, thereby gaining the award, has been a welcomed journey and one that we would recommend that other primaries undertake to ground practice on carefully conducted research.
