The Local Authorities Research Consortium’s (LARC) latest round of research into early intervention and children experiencing neglect highlights some important messages for practitioners working with families. Specifically, this summary presents our key messages for those working in and with the education sector. The summary is based on interviews with over 105 practitioners, and 40 children and families across nine English local authorities. We have also produced summaries for health colleagues, Local Safeguarding Children’s Board members and elected members. For further information about LARC go to www.nfer.ac.uk/larc.
