NFER has extensive expertise of conducting large-scale surveys for a variety of clients

We undertake survey administration for both NFER’s own extensive range of projects and for external organisations who have their own research staff and need support in carrying out the logistical side of survey administration.

We undertake paper and online surveys and computer-aided telephone interviews (CATI) and have a long track record in working with a range of respondents, mainly in the education sector but also with other respondent groups.

Computer-Aided Telephone Interviewing (CATI) has been added to NFER’s in-house methodological toolkit. Our expert interviewers can now survey the feelings and opinions of stakeholders across the education sector for research projects which require respondents' views on complex issues.
