Parliament Hill School

Highgate, London, NW5 1RL

The researchED National Conference is returning to London for their annual National Conference, bringing together leading voices in education to share their insights and expertise.

NFER’s Assessment Researcher, Esther Lury, and Education Assessment Product Specialist, Philippa Green, will be holding a session to explore the role and features of teacher marking in NFER’s new online assessments, and how they can support teachers in their role in the classroom.

NFER’s Research Director, Helen Poet, will be presenting on the impact of using ChatGPT to plan lessons. She will be drawing on research from NFER’s recent controlled trial, funded by the Education Endowment Foundation, ‘ChatGPT in lesson preparation – Teacher Choices trial’, which found that teachers who used ChatGPT saved, on average, 25.3 minutes per week, or 31%, in lesson and resource planning.
