NFER and schools in partnership

We are immensely grateful to all the schools who so generously give their time to support our work.

Despite another hugely busy year, almost 17,000 schools in England took part in NFER research and assessment projects in 2022. An incredible 1.4 million pupils engaged with NFER research, assessment trials and resources.

What might start as a teacher survey, a classroom trial or review of assessment data has the potential to lead to improved outcomes for children and young people both now and in the future. To support this aim, we have created Research Bites, an ongoing series of accessible research summaries and practical, evidence-based tips for teachers and school leaders.

It is due to your support that we were able to continue our programme of truly independent research on the education topics that make a difference. Thank you.
