Next steps for teacher recruitment and retention in England

Westminster Education Forum is holding an event to discuss teacher recruitment and retention across schools and further education in England with the Government recently committing to publish a Teacher Workforce Delivery Plan by December following the publication of the Curriculum and Assessment Review.

At 9.05am, NFER Education Workforce Lead, Jack Worth, will be giving a keynote address on the priorities for teacher recruitment and retention in England and the current state of play. He will be drawing on research from NFER’s recent reports, including the Teacher Labour Market in England 2025 and Building a stronger FE college workforce
