Progress in International Reading Literacy Study Webinar (Northern Ireland)

NFER Head of Assessment Research and Product Development, Liz Twist, chaired a webinar on the outcomes of the 2021 Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) in Northern Ireland at the end of September 2023.

During the webinar, NFER Research Manager, Rachel Classick, presented on the insights and findings of the PIRLS 2021 results in Northern Ireland. A panel featuring Claire McClelland (Department of Education, Northern Ireland), Dr. Paulína Koršňáková (International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement), John McCusker (Education and Training Inspectorate) and Pauline Fleming (The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment) then provided their thoughts on the findings.
