Valedictory Randomised Controlled Trials in the Social Sciences Conference

NFER are pleased to be taking part in the 2025 Valedictory Randomised Controlled Trials in the Social Sciences Conference. The two-day conference will be an opportunity for delegates to share expertise, interests and concerns about conducting trials in all fields of social sciences.
Dr Ben Styles, NFER's Co-Head of UK Policy and Practice and Head of Classroom Practice and Workforce, is on the event organising committee and has also been invited to deliver a talk on experimental education research at 10.00am on the first day of the event.
In addition, NFER researchers Palak Roy, Helen Poet, Ruth Staunton, Katherine Aston, and David Thomas will be speaking about a Teacher Choices Trial on the use of Chat GPT in lesson preparation and Senior Evaluation Analyst Andrew Smith will discuss our NELI scale-up evaluation project.
