Evaluating School Self-Evaluation

The project reported on here was carried out during 1999 and 2000 and was funded by the Local Government Association Education Research Programme. The main aim of the research was to conduct a critical examination of what schools, in many cases supported by their local education authorities (LEAs), were doing in terms of self-evaluation and self-review.
