Still Joining Forces? presents data from a questionnaire survey undertaken by NFER, investigating the extent of joint activity that is taking place between special and ordinary schools. It provides evidence about the movement of teachers, pupils and classroom assistants between the two types of school and outlines teachers' perceptions of the factors in the present educational context which facilitate or hinder such activity. It should be of interest to all those who are concerned to enhance the opportunities for the integration of pupils with special educational needs.
