The Department for Education submitted questions to the November 2013 NFER Teacher Voice omnibus survey which asked teachers about their awareness of the new Teachers' Standards and capability arrangements and their views on appraisals and pay reform. A sample of 1,524 practising teachers from 1,164 schools completed the survey in November 2013, providing a nationally representative and up-to-date picture of practice.
