Children Missing in Education Digital Conference

Westminster Insight is holding an event to discuss the impact persistent absence has on pupils and how to support children missing from Education.

At 11.50am, NFER’s Senior Research Manager, Dr Emma Moore, will be presenting on pupil wellbeing, attendance and persistent absence. She will be drawing on NFER’s recent research Pupil wellbeing and persistent absence: Understanding the views of pupils, parents and carers, and school staff, which found that pupil wellbeing was felt to be a major factor in declining school attendance rates.
