NFER has today launched new restandardisation for NFER Tests, providing schools with updated benchmarks based on a nationally representative sample of 177,000 pupils.
The restandardisation gives schools a more up-to-date view of pupil attainment, helping them compare performance against current national standards while continuing to use the trusted assessments they know and value.
Alongside the updated benchmarks, NFER has introduced the new NFER Reporting Tool, making it easier for teachers to interpret assessment data and identify where pupils may need additional support. Schools will also benefit from free digital Teacher Guides available through the platform.
Together, these updates provide schools with clearer reporting, more relevant national comparisons and greater confidence in using assessment data to support pupil progress.
