Guidance on running school competitions as required by the Education and Inspections Act 2006, and information on the early experience of the first authorities to undertake this process.
This booklet forms part of a portfolio of resources Choice, Diversity and Access: the Role of the Local Authority as Commissioner of School Places which represents the outcomes from action-research workshops held at conferences co-promoted by ADCS and EMIE in London and Manchester in March 2007.
