The 67th Comparative and International Education Society Annual Conference takes place online and onsite in Washington, DC from 14-22 February.

Under the 2023 theme of Improving Education for a More Equitable World NFER’s Head of International Development, Dr Katarzyna Kubacka, has organised and will chair a panel with speakers from the Global e-Schools and Communities Initiative (GESCI), Luigi Guissiani Institute of Higher Education, Dignitas, Promoting Equality in African Schools (PEAS) and the Global Campaign for Education (GCE).

Our panel will discuss how teachers and school leaders can be supported and empowered to provide quality learning for all students amidst the challenges of emergencies, with examples from Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.
