NASBTT is a registered charity which represents the interests of schools-led teacher training provision in relation to the development and implementation of national policy developments. This year the NASBTT annual conference theme is ‘Compassion, Flexibility and Trust’ and there is an exciting programme of keynote speakers, workshop sessions, provider perspectives, networking opportunities and Q&A sessions.

Jack Worth, NFER’s Lead Economist is delivering a keynote address on ‘Adapting to the New Context: Teacher Training, Recession and Covid-19’ on Day 2: Wednesday 25 November at 9.45am, after the opening address on flexibility by Emma Hollis, Executive Director at NASBTT.

Jack Worth is Lead Economist and school workforce lead at NFER and his research and analysis aims to understand the changing teaching profession and identify ways of improving teacher recruitment and retention. Specialising in analysis of large datasets, including the National Pupil Database, School Workforce Census and Labour Force Survey, Jack uses advanced quantitative techniques to gain insights for policy and practice.
