GovNet are holding their Skills and Employment Summit in London to address the gap in skills and employment.

At 15.40, NFER’s Research Director, Jude Hillary, will be joining a panel to discuss ‘The worker of tomorrow’. The session will be chaired by Becci Newton (Institute for Employment Studies), who will be joined by Frank Bowley (Head of the Unit for Future Skills), Clare Lewis (Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust), Sam Hornsby (ERIC) and Donna Kenny (Western Training Provider Network) on the panel. Jude will be drawing on research from NFER’s 5-year research programme ‘The Skills Imperative 2035: Essential skills for tomorrow’s workforce’ which will work with employers, policy makers, and education leaders to provide practical insights and evidence to inform longer-term planning for how to meet future demand for essential employment skills.
